Photos & Snapshots

Happy Wednesday, everyone!

I have a layout to share with you today using some of the photos that I took when my sister and I participated in The Color Run in St. Louis back in August...

I used some of my January Studio Calico kits +Add-ons for this layout.  I also used last week's Sunday Sketch for my design inspiration (or maybe it was the week before that one?)

I edited my photos on my iPhone using the Snapster App (one of my faves!)  I wanted them to stand out so I kept my color palette muted with a few pops of neon green here and there.

I hid my journaling tag inside the graph paper glassine pocket and it reads, "The Color Run was my first 5k...I had no idea what to expect having never ran in my life, lol!  Needless to say, my sister and I had the best time!  It took us a few showers to get all of the "color" washed off, but it was So.Totally.Worth.It!"

That's me and my little sis...love that girl!

If you've never heard of the Color Run or are interested in running in one around your area, I highly recommend you that you watch this video...so.much.fun!!!!!!!!

Have a great day and TFL!

  4. This is awesome! I want to do a color run so bad!! Looks so fun. Do you have any tips / tricks on how to print your photos from instagram...like how to get them cropped into a square like you have on this layout?
Or how to print in a 3x4 size for PL?

    1. I'm a Mac girl so I use my iPhoto to resize my pics. You could also use Photoshop or a free program like Picasa. You could also download a free demo version of Photoshop Elements as well. Any basic photo editing software should work, what do you have?

    2. I don't have a Mac. *sad face* However, I do have Picasa so I will try that! Thank you! I did discover an app last night called Printicular. It prints your Instagrams into a 4x4 and you order right from your phone and pick up at any Walgreens. :D
