Love You *Hip Kit Club*

I'm sharing this fall-inspired layout over on the Hip Kit Club blog today....

I used the September 2015 kits for this page and even though I was stumped on how to use those cute wood slices at first, I ended up loving how they look on my layout!

I added some of the Dear Lizzy Documentary Rub-ons to a few of the wood slices and then placed some chipboard stickers from Crate Paper on top.

Even though this page is bulky, I love it and I'm really glad I added the wood slices. It was fun to mix all of the wood elements together on one page and I think helps give it a rustic feel.

You can view my full post here. And be sure and check out the October reveal...the kits are AMAZING!

Have a great day!

Project Life Weeks 33 & 34 *Freckled Fawn*

Happy Friday, everyone!

I have my Project Life spread for Weeks 33 & 34 to share with you that I created using the September Ohdeerme Kit from Freckled Fawn...

Week 33

I just loved this month's kit! All of the embellishments worked so well with my photos from these two weeks!

The acrylic words and flocked star stickers were so fun to add to my spread. They really pop off the page and add dimension to my design.

Week 34

I created a vellum pocket to house the adorable wood veneer pencils and crayons and then placed a few embellishments from the kit on top before I slipped it in the pocket.

Be sure and check out the September kit, Oxford, and get a sneak peek of October's kit, Woodland.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for dropping by!

Project Life Weeks 35 & 36 *Hip Kit Club*

Hello crafty friends! I have my Project Life spread for Weeks 35 & 36 to share with you today that I created using the September 2015 Hip Kits...

Week 35

I used the September 2015 Project Life Kit, along with items from the other September Kits on my spread.

I'm still documenting two weeks to a spread so it's been very easy for me to keep up with my PL this year.

The September 2015 Hip Kits are perfect for any late summer/early fall scrapping projects. I love all of the blue tones in this month's kit and thought they paired nicely with the pops of yellow and red I used on my spread.

Week 36

I kept my design cohesive by using the same letter stickers throughout my page and by using the same products to embellish the spread.

I really liked adding the rub-ons directly to my photos this month. I love how they add an extra dimension without adding any bulk.

And here's a look at the full spread for Weeks 35 & 36. You can also see my full post over on the Hip Kit Club blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!

Happy Tongue *Hip Kit Club*

Hello everyone!

I shared this colorful layout on the Hip Kit Club blog last week...

I couldn't resist scrapping one of the last official summer photos that I had of my daughter eating her favorite summer ice cream treat.  Plus, I love how well the September 2015 kits coordinated with my photo!

I also love this month's Color Kit...I used the Elle's Studio alpha stamp set to stamp the word "tongue" on my title and then colored the letters in using the Distress markers. It gave it such a cool effect!

The September 2015 kits include a lot of rub-ons which I used in various spots on my layout.  I like how they help add dimension and color without adding any bulk.

This was the first layout I created using the September 2015 kits and let me just say that they are amazing! Be sure and grab yours today and check out the reveal for the October 2015 kits on the blog!

Have a wonderful day! TFL!

Hello Adventure *Hip Kit Club*

I have this back-to-school inspired layout that I created using the August 2015 Hip Kits over on the Hip Kit Club blog today...

I always look forward to scrapping my kiddos' first day of school photo each year!  I have an 8th, 3rd, and 1st grader this year....YIKES!

The Crate Paper "house" patterned paper was perfect for this page so I fussy cut a few rows of houses and placed them near my photo.

I also layered lots of ephemera bits, wood veneer stickers from Pink Fresh Studio, and some glittery gold heart chipboard stickers from Freckled Fawn around my page.

Have you scrapped your back-to-school photos yet? The August and September 2015 Hip Kits are perfect for those types of photos and anything else that's fall-related or inspired.

Thanks for dropping by today!
