Hello and happy Saturday, everyone! I'm here today with two brand new layouts using the BRAND NEW Simple and Sweet collection by Pinkfresh Studio! This collection is amazing and perfect for all of your summer scrapbook projects!

First up is a layout I created using a very recent photo of my family after we celebrated my son's 16th birthday...

I chose the "Good Things" patterned paper for my background and used several different sized circle punches to cut out circles from some of the other patterned papers in the Simple and Sweet collection so I could layer them on top of some of the lemon slices. I placed one of the stitched frames over our family photo and layered several ephemera bits and puffy stickers around it.

Next, I added some more ephemera bits and a few epoxy stickers to the circle punches I created earlier. I used foam adhesive to give some of the ephemera bits a little dimension to help add some depth to my page. I just love the soft, summery pastel colors in this collection, don't you?

Next up is another fun, summer-inspired layout that I created using the Simple and Sweet collection...

I chose the "Good Things" patterned paper again and flipped it to the rainbow striped side for my background and placed my photos near the bottom left of the layout. I used some of the leftover circle punches from my first layout and placed them on the outer three edges of the photo cluster to help unify the look. I placed three of the sentiment puffy stickers to use as my title on the right side of my photo cluster and angled them in the same direction as the stripes on the patterned paper.

Next, I placed a few of the chipboard stickers around my photos and title and splashed some spray ink around to help add a little extra color. I also added some of the colorful enamel dots for some extra dimension.

I hope I've inspired you to use this new collection for your next project! The Simple and Sweet collection is one of my favorites from Pinkfresh Studio and I'm sure it will be one of yours, too!

A Case of the Blahs and Let Your Heart Decide Layouts for Pinkfresh Studio

Hello, everyone! I'm here today with two scrapbook layouts, one using "A Case of the Blahs" collection and the other using the "Let Your Heart Decide" collection that I shared on the Pinkfresh Studio blog earlier today...

For this first layout, I used a play on words with the "A Case of the Blahs" collection name in mind and titled my page "No Blahs About It". I used a photo of my daughter getting ready to go to one of her dance competitions, which is always a fun day for the both of us! I layered a few coordinating pieces of patterned paper from the collection on top of the "Meh" patterned paper and placed one of the chipboard sticker frames on top of the photo to make it stand out a bit better.

I layered several of the die cut pieces from the collection around my photo and used the puffy alphas and a few of the letter cardstock stickers to create my title. I also used several different sized punches and punched out some circles using paper from the "A Case of the Blahs" 6x6 paper pad. I scattered the circles around my page and used some foam adhesive to create some dimension. I love the happy colors and feel of this layout, don't you?

Next up, I created a layout using the "Let Your Heart Decide" collection. I chose the "Thought" patterned paper as my background and placed a small strip of the "Impulse" patterned paper vertically down the left side to house the photo of me and my dog, Daisy.

I fussy-cut several of the hearts from the "Caper" patterned paper and placed them around the vertical strip of paper. I also used some of the pretty heart epoxy stickers to add some dimension to the paper heart clusters and tucked a few of the floral die cuts around the hearts, too. So pretty!

To complete my page, I added a couple of the gorgeous wood veneer pieces by my photos to help even out my design visually and placed a few puffy heart-shaped stickers around the fussy-cut heart pieces.

Both of these layouts really put me into the spring mood and I just love how happy the colors of both collections look with my photos! What are some of your favorite color combinations for spring? Thanks so much for joining me today!

Let Your Heart Decide Layouts *Pinkfresh Studio*

Hello crafty friends!

I'm here today with two fresh layouts that I created using the Let Your Heart Decide collection from Pinkfresh Studio. First up is a layout that I created documenting my daughter's 9th birthday...

I chose the "Spur" patterned paper to use as the background and I fussy-cut a piece of the "Whim" patterned paper to use under the photo of my daughter, using some foam adhesive to give it some dimension. For even more of a layered look, I chose one of the stitched frames to layer over my photo...I love how the photo frame and the placement of it over the background paper design helps draw the eye right to my photo!

I angled my title using the puffy alpha stickers and the striped pattern on the background paper as a guide and journaled on the other set of stripes at the top right-hand corner of the page. I used several of the heart-shaped epoxy stickers, layered stickers, leatherette stickers, and ephemera pieces to create embellishment clusters around my page. I love how bright and happy the color scheme is with this beautiful collection!

Next up is another layout that I created using the Let Your Heart Decide collection...

One of my daughter's favorite presents that she received for her birthday was this set of butterfly wings. I printed off two photos of her wearing the wings and layered them directly onto the "Escapade" patterned paper from the collection. I placed the photos toward the bottom of my page so I could use the top for part of my title and for some fun embellishments such as the ephemera hearts and the wood veneer stickers. I used the puffy alphas for my title, along with some of the pink alphas from The Mix No. 2 collection.

I extended the rest of my title under my photos and used an ephemera cloud and some more puffy alphas to complete it. I also added a few more embellishments from the collection around the title to help draw the eye down around my page.

I love how these layouts turned out thanks to the amazing Let Your Heart Decide collection! The papers and embellishments are perfect for any theme or paper crafting project! Thanks so much for joining me and I hope you have a fabulous day!

Pinkfresh Studio 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop!

Hello everyone! I'm the next stop on Pinkfresh Studio's 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop! I created a layout using the "A Case of the Blahs" collection showcasing my two fur babies and how they love to nap together in the sun...

I started my design by grabbing the "Oops" patterned paper and using it as my background. I took another piece of the "Chaos" patterned paper and sized it down to fit in the middle of my page so I could display my photo on it. I layered a couple of other pieces of patterned papers from the 6x6 paper pad from the collection behind the photo of my pups to add some color and dimension to my design.

Next, I added my title underneath of the photo using the puffy alpha stickers from the collection and dotted the ''i" using one of the coordinating enamel dots, also from the "A Case of the Blahs" collection.  I fussy-cut several of the houses from the "Oops" patterned paper and stitched them down in a horizontal line using my sewing machine.  I added several arrow embellishments from the cardstock sticker sheet and a few of the puffy stickers and chipboard stickers to complete my design. I love the monochromatic color scheme and pops of green, yellow, and pale blue, don't you?

Be You Collection by Pinkfresh Studio

Hello and happy Friday, everyone! I have two layouts to share with you today that I created using the beautiful new Be You collection by Pinkfresh Studio!

For my first layout, I used the "Happy" patterned paper for my background and layered a piece of the "Brave" patterned paper, sized at about 4 1/2", and placed it near the right-hand side of my page.

Next, I layered the two photos of my daughter side by side and placed a die cut piece from the collection behind them. I also placed a die cut journaling piece underneath the photo on the left so I could use it for my journaling. I layered a few more of the foil die cuts around my photos and placed one of the Be You puffy stickers next to the left photo.

I also added some circular elements to my overall linear design using a few of the gold foil chipboard stickers from the collection. I also created an embellishment cluster near the sentiment chipboard sticker using some of the wooden buttons and a tassel from the Be You collection to complete my design.

For my next layout, I used the gorgeous "Real" floral framed patterned paper from the collection and sized a piece of the "Brave" patterned paper down to 7.5"x7.5" so it fit nicely in the center of my page.

I layered several pieces of the navy paper from the 6x6 paper pad behind a few of the gold foil chipboard frames and used one to house the photo of my three kids at a foam party on the beach. I love the bright pops of color that the frames add to my design!

I also placed some embellishments from the collection inside the chipboard frames to help add dimension and visual interest to my page. The leatherette tag and puffy stickers were perfect for accomplishing this!

I hope you enjoyed checking out my projects today! I love the springy colors in the Be You collection and how well everything coordinates! I hope you have a wonderful weekend and get a chance to create something amazing!

New Pinkfresh Studio Collections and Layouts!

Hello, friends! I'm here today with a couple of projects that I created using two of Pinkfresh Studio's newest collections, "Be You" and "The Mix No. 2"!

First up is a layout using the "Be You" collection...

I began by cutting out a large, triangular-shaped design with my Silhouette machine and layering it on top of one of the gorgeous patterned papers from the collection. I love the subtle, rainbow dash stripes...so pretty and it makes the perfect background! Next, I fussy-cut smaller triangle shapes using the 6x6 paper pad and layered a few different patterns under some of the triangles to add some color contrast. I also placed the photo of my oldest son to the right of the triangle element and layered a gold foil chipboard sticker over it. I used some of the beautiful rose gold puffy letter stickers to create my title "beach boy".

I used many of the "Be You" collection embellishments such as the die cuts, leatherette tags, and wooden buttons to add lots of dimension and texture to my design. I love how beautiful the pastel colors look with my photo! I journaled on one of the gold foil die cut pieces and placed it to the side of the "Be You" sentiment die cut to balance out my overall design.

The "Be You" collection is perfect for any project or layout and the patterns and colors really put me in the mood for spring and summer!

Next up, I have another layout that I created using "The Mix No. 2" collection...

I sized down a piece of white card stock and layered it on top of one of the patterned papers from the "Let Your Heart Decide" collection and then created a grid design using two photos of my daughter from our recent vacation. I chose several of the die cut pieces from "The Mix No. 2" collection and placed them around my photos, keeping the same grid shape/design.

To fill in more of the gaps, I placed some of the epoxy stickers and label stickers around my photos and layered a few of the adorable tassels on top of some of the tags. I love the texture and color that they add to my page! To complete my layout, I added my title "Moments Like These" under the photo to the left using one of the sentiment die cuts and the puffy letter stickers in different colors.

Thanks so much for joining me today and I hope you love these new Pinkfresh Studio collections as much as I do! Have a wonderful day!

Pinkfresh Studio A Case of the Blahs Blog Hop!

Hello, Pinkfresh fans! I'm the last stop on this amazing blog hop featuring Pinkfresh Studio's newest collection, A Case of the Blahs. If you're following along, then you probably came from Amanda Jayne Baldwin's blog.

I created a layout documenting my love for caffeine...such a help coffee is when you're having a "blah" day!

I started my design process by layering a piece of patterned paper from the collection on top of a dark charcoal gray piece of cardstock to give my color scheme some contrast and to make the white and black elements pop. I placed my photo under one of the chipboard sticker frames from the collection and layered several of the die cut pieces around it.

I used my die cut machine to cut out some vine shapes using the green/yellow striped patterned paper and layered them behind my photo and around the left side of my page. I placed some of the black and white leaf die cuts on top of the vines to give it more dimension. I also layered a few of the enamel dots around the vine leaves as well.

I used the die cut phrase "real life" as my title and placed one of the chipboard stickers underneath of it. I also layered a few of the puffy stickers on top of a journaling tag to create a simple embellishment cluster and of course the coffee cup looked so cute and was perfect for my page!

To be entered into the giveaway, all you have to do is stop by each blog on the hop and leave a comment. A random winner will be drawn on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 and comments will close on Thursday, February 8th at 11:59pm CST.

Pinkfresh Studio Let Your Heart Decide Blog Hop!

Hello, Pinkfresh fans! I'm up next on the "Let Your Heart Decide" Blog Hop lineup and I created this layout using this gorgeous new collection and one of my favorite photos from our recent family vacation to the Dominican Republic...

I started by placing one of the 6x6 patterned paper pieces on top of one of the more subtle 12x12 patterned papers from the "Let Your Heart Decide" collection and placed my photo directly in the middle of it. Next, I layered several of the die cuts and layered stickers from the collection around my photo. I was really inspired by the floral pieces and how they looked next to the colors in my photograph.

I also added several of the wood stickers to my floral embellishment clusters to add some extra dimension and texture contrast. I also layered a few of the puffy stickers around my photo as well and used the puffy letter stickers to complete my title.

I also journaled a bit on one of the label stickers and placed it under the left side of my photo. I also added an embellishment cluster under the right side of my photo and a little towards the bottom to help draw the eye around my page.

What do you think about this lovely new collection? For a chance to win the giveaway of the Let Your Heart Decide collection, all you have to do is comment on each blog in the hop and a random winner will be drawn on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018. Elle's Studio Guest Designer!

Hey everyone and happy 2018!

I'm excited to announce that I am a guest designer over at Elle's Studio this month! I am designing three projects using their latest releases and here is my first project...

I used a piece of kraft cardstock for my background paper and placed the “I Love You More Than All The Stars In The Sky” die cut next to the photo of my husband and I, which I layered on top of the striped patterned paper from the XOXO 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack.

Next, I visually balanced out my design by using two more patterned paper pieces from the XOXO 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack and cut them to fill in the white space under my photo and the sentiment die cut piece. Since I love to layer and create embellishment clusters, I utilized the space on the patterned paper pieces under my photo for just that.

I placed several die cut and Hand Drawn Acrylic Hearts and tags from the Love You Die Cut on the patterned paper squares and I also used some of the leftover pieces from the striped patterned paper that I layered under my photo to create a pocket to house my journaling card, which I sewed onto the page.

I simply placed the piece of patterned paper onto my page and used my sewing machine to stitch around three sides of it to create a little pocket. This is a great way to add texture to your page while hiding some of your private journaling!

I also included several of the Star Chipboard and Hugs and Kisses Puffy Stickers to add some dimension and color pop to my design. I love how the softer colors from the XOXO 6″ x 6″ Paper Stack look paired with the pops of black and white!

You can check out my full post on the Elle's Studio blog...thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your New Year is off to a great start!
