Pinkfresh Studio 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop!

Hello everyone! I'm the next stop on Pinkfresh Studio's 4th Birthday Bash Blog Hop! I created a layout using the "A Case of the Blahs" collection showcasing my two fur babies and how they love to nap together in the sun...

I started my design by grabbing the "Oops" patterned paper and using it as my background. I took another piece of the "Chaos" patterned paper and sized it down to fit in the middle of my page so I could display my photo on it. I layered a couple of other pieces of patterned papers from the 6x6 paper pad from the collection behind the photo of my pups to add some color and dimension to my design.

Next, I added my title underneath of the photo using the puffy alpha stickers from the collection and dotted the ''i" using one of the coordinating enamel dots, also from the "A Case of the Blahs" collection.  I fussy-cut several of the houses from the "Oops" patterned paper and stitched them down in a horizontal line using my sewing machine.  I added several arrow embellishments from the cardstock sticker sheet and a few of the puffy stickers and chipboard stickers to complete my design. I love the monochromatic color scheme and pops of green, yellow, and pale blue, don't you?

Next up on the blog hop is....Jessica Frost-Ballas.

And here's the full blog hop lineup:

Be sure and hop along with each designer and leave a comment on their blogs for a chance to win $40 worth of Pinkfresh Studio products! Each stop on the blog will have a winner and entries for this giveaway will close on Monday, April 9th at 6am PST. Pinkfresh Studio A Case of the Blahs Blog Hop!

Hello, Pinkfresh fans! I'm the last stop on this amazing blog hop featuring Pinkfresh Studio's newest collection, A Case of the Blahs. If you're following along, then you probably came from Amanda Jayne Baldwin's blog.

I created a layout documenting my love for caffeine...such a help coffee is when you're having a "blah" day!

I started my design process by layering a piece of patterned paper from the collection on top of a dark charcoal gray piece of cardstock to give my color scheme some contrast and to make the white and black elements pop. I placed my photo under one of the chipboard sticker frames from the collection and layered several of the die cut pieces around it.

I used my die cut machine to cut out some vine shapes using the green/yellow striped patterned paper and layered them behind my photo and around the left side of my page. I placed some of the black and white leaf die cuts on top of the vines to give it more dimension. I also layered a few of the enamel dots around the vine leaves as well.

I used the die cut phrase "real life" as my title and placed one of the chipboard stickers underneath of it. I also layered a few of the puffy stickers on top of a journaling tag to create a simple embellishment cluster and of course the coffee cup looked so cute and was perfect for my page!

To be entered into the giveaway, all you have to do is stop by each blog on the hop and leave a comment. A random winner will be drawn on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 and comments will close on Thursday, February 8th at 11:59pm CST.

Good luck and here's a complete list of the blog hop in case you missed one!

Pinkfresh Studio Let Your Heart Decide Blog Hop!

Hello, Pinkfresh fans! I'm up next on the "Let Your Heart Decide" Blog Hop lineup and I created this layout using this gorgeous new collection and one of my favorite photos from our recent family vacation to the Dominican Republic...

I started by placing one of the 6x6 patterned paper pieces on top of one of the more subtle 12x12 patterned papers from the "Let Your Heart Decide" collection and placed my photo directly in the middle of it. Next, I layered several of the die cuts and layered stickers from the collection around my photo. I was really inspired by the floral pieces and how they looked next to the colors in my photograph.

I also added several of the wood stickers to my floral embellishment clusters to add some extra dimension and texture contrast. I also layered a few of the puffy stickers around my photo as well and used the puffy letter stickers to complete my title.

I also journaled a bit on one of the label stickers and placed it under the left side of my photo. I also added an embellishment cluster under the right side of my photo and a little towards the bottom to help draw the eye around my page.

What do you think about this lovely new collection? For a chance to win the giveaway of the Let Your Heart Decide collection, all you have to do is comment on each blog in the hop and a random winner will be drawn on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018. Comments will close at 11:59pm CST on Thursday, February 1st, 2018.

Next up is Amanda Jayne Baldwin's blog, so head over there next! Good luck and here is the blog hop lineup in case you get off track...

Pinkfresh Studio Playing Favorites Blog Hop

Hello, Pinkfresh Studio fans! If you're hopping along with us today then you probably came from Amanda-Jayne Baldwin's blog. I'm the last stop on the hop so welcome! I chose to create a layout with one of my favorite photos of my family using the Escape the Ordinary collection...

The photo of us isn't amazing, or extraordinary, or professional by any means, but it's my favorite because it's one of those special moments captured when we are all together. As my children get older, that seems to be a rare occurrence these days. So I printed it off a little larger than I normally do for my layout photos and placed it on top of my FAVORITE patterned paper piece from the Escape the Ordinary collection.

I used gold foil letter stickers from the December Days collection because the red really stood out and popped with the rest of my color scheme. I added the words, "Together We Are"... and placed a sentiment piece of patterned paper from the Escape the Ordinary collection below it to complete my title.

I also added lots of triangle-shaped puffy stickers from the collection and kept my overall design simple and minimal, but still visually balanced and interesting thanks to the lovely puffy stickers!

Thanks so much for hopping along with us today! Be sure and comment on each blog to be entered to win an amazing prize from Pinkfresh Studio! Comments will close on Friday, January 5th, 2018 at 11:59pm CST and a random winner will be announced on Monday, January 8th, 2018! Good luck and happy New Year from Pinkfresh Studio!

Hello, everyone! If you're hopping along with us today for the December Days Blog Hop and giveaway, then you probably just came from the Pinkfresh Studio blog! I'm up next with a layout that I created using the festive December Days collection from Pinkfresh Studio!

I started my design by choosing the beautiful multi-colored snowflake patterned paper from the collection and misting it with some baby blue hued spray ink. I layered a few of the papers from the 6x6 paper pad underneath my photo and then used one of the 3x4 gold foiled cards and placed it on the right side of my photo to visually balance my design.

I gathered up lots of beautiful embellishments from the December Days collection to add dimension and color pops around my page. I layered several of the gold foiled die cuts and cardstock stickers around my photo and placed some of the puffy stickers around the sides of the 6x6 patterned paper pieces. I also added lots of the adorable wooden buttons to help draw the eye around my design.

Pinkfresh Studio Boys Fort Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Hello, everyone! I'm so excited to be participating in another amazing blog hop for Pinkfresh Studio's newest collection, Boys Fort! If you're following along with the hop, you just came from Flora Mónika Farkas' blog.

I chose the Thumb's Up and You Rule pieces of patterned paper for my background and used a little bit of spray ink to add a bit of blue to the bottom piece.

I added two photos of my youngest son and his fur baby and placed one of the 6x6 paper pad patterned paper pieces behind them to add some color pop. I also added one of the fabric tenants from the Boys Fort collection on top of the left photo to fill in some white space.

I added three embellishment clusters to draw the eye across my layout. The wood button stickers and screen printed wood stickers are perfect for adding some dimension and contrast to any project! I also placed a few of the black and white phrase stickers and ephemera bits in a few spots and lifted them by adding some dimensional adhesive.

I also journaled on one of the ephemera tags and placed it near the bottom of my layout. I just love the how the black and white elements of this collection look mixed with the deeper primary colors!

Pinkfresh Studio Design Team Lineup!

Hello, everyone! Pinkfresh Studio is revealing the new design team and one of their newest collections, Escape the Ordinary, today so I'm super excited to be participating in this blog hop! If you're following along on this hop then you just came from Julia Stainton's blog.

My name is Adrienne Alvis and I have been designing for Pinkfresh Studio for almost 3 years now. I am a married, mother of three and I live in Southern Illinois. Other than paper crafting, I love to read, travel, run, and just hang out with my family. My husband is a farmer and has a full-time job as a sprinkler fitter and I just recently became a LuLaRoe fashion consultant so life around our place is very busy! My children are growing up quickly and very involved in school and sports, so paper crafting is a great way for me to relax and focus on my creative side.

I used the Escape the Ordinary collection to create this layout documenting a moment where I stopped and made a little detour...

This collection is so amazing! When I first opened it up, I was so excited to see so many gorgeous colors, embellishments, and patterned papers that are simply stunning! I started with one of the patterned papers from the Escape the Ordinary collection as my background an added some paint splotches and splatters to give it some added dimension.

I layered a piece of patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad under my photo and used some dimensional adhesive to elevate it a bit. I placed several of the Escape the Ordinary puffy stickers around the triangular design of the patterned paper and layered one on top of my photo utilizing some of the white space.

I also added a few of the gold foiled die cut butterflies from the collection around my page to create a visual triangle. I also placed one of the sentiment die cuts under my photo for an added pop of color and one near the bottom of my page to help direct the eye around my layout.

Isn't Pinkfresh Studio's newest collection, Escape the Ordinary, just gorgeous! Be sure and follow along with our blog hop today to see even more amazing products created with the new collection and meet the new designers! And if you leave a comment on each blog in the hop, you will be entered into a giveaway to receive one of two prizes! Yes!...that means that 2 winners will be randomly drawn to receive either a set of stamps and die cuts worth $100 or the entire Escape the Ordinary Collection!!!

Next up on the hop is Laura Contoni-Bassen! You can find her blog here!

Thanks so much for joining me today!

Freckled Fawn/Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop & Giveaway!

Freckled Fawn and Altenew have teamed up, collaborated, and created some lovely projects and inspiration for you to enjoy today! Plus, both companies are giving away $120 worth of products for you to win just by following along with us on the hop and by leaving a little "love" for everyone participating.

I'm next up on the hop if you came from Svitlana Shayevich's blog. For my layout, I chose the lovely Geometric Menagerie Stamp Set from Altenew and used items from recent FF Ohdeerme Kits to create my page...

"You Fill My Heart With Pride"

My daughter's dance competition group dressed up like tigers last season for one of their performances and I thought these adorable photos would be perfect to use with the stamp set! I started creating my background design of the animals by randomly stamping their images diagonally across some white card stock using some black StazOn ink...which is my go-to black ink:)

I framed my photos with glitter frames and added some fun coordinating embellishments from Freckled Fawn around my page. I just love how the dimensional rhinestone stickers from the January Embellishment Kit "Capture" look next to the geometric animals!

I added a bit of washi tape from the Capture kit across the bottom of the gold glitter frame and stamped one of the sentiments from the Geometric Menagerie Stamp Set on a label sticker for my page title.

And finally, I printed off my journaling and cut it into strips before I adhered it to my page using some tiny Glue Dots.

As I mentioned above, you can win prizes from both companies by following along with the hop and by leaving comments on each participants blog. Not one, but TWO winners will be randomly chosen throughout the hop to win!

$120 is up for grabs so be sure and leave everyone a little love! Next up on the hop is Amy Gray and here's the full list of participants if you get a little lost :)

Pinkfresh Studio's New Collections!

Hello everyone and happy New Year!

I'm excited for a fresh beginning and a new outlook on the upcoming year! And I'm excited to be sharing my first blog post over at Pinkfresh Studio today!

I created two layouts using their new collections, Felicity and Life Noted...

I fussy-cut a bunch of houses from one of the patterned papers in the Felicity collection for this page.

I also layered lots of the embellishments, such as the sequin studio puffs and the color block wood stickers around my page as well.

I cut out my title using my Silhouette and hand wrote my journaling on one of the die cut tags from the collection to finish it off.

For this next layout, I used items from the Life Noted collection...

I cut out a bunch of gemstones from one of the patterned paper pieces and layered them on top of one of the stamps in the collection.

I added one of the foil wood stickers to the bottom of my photo and placed one of the acetate word phrases to the right of it.

I printed my journaling off of my computer and placed the strips at the bottom of the gemstone cut file that I enlarged for my page.

These collections are filled with so many amazing pieces and will hit wholesalers in March, but you can get a chance to win them both before then! Just head over to the reveal post here for all of the info!

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I used the April OHDEERME Kit from Freckled Fawn and the Everyday Smiles Stamp Set from Some Odd Girl Stamps for my Week 16 pocket page spread...

Left Side:

The Freckled Fawn April OHDEERME Kit had so many fabulous embellishments in it that I used most of them on this project...

I was really inspired by the color scheme in the kit and used it throughout this week's spread.

I embossed the sentiments from the Everyday Smiles Stamp Set from Some Odd Girl Stamps using gold embossing powder to coordinate with the gold embellies in the OHDEERME kit.

The Everyday Smiles Stamp Set was perfect for using on my weekly spread...the sentiments fit perfectly onto the 3x4 journaling cards that I used.

Right Side:

I love how the gold embossed stamping stands out on my page!  And I love how easily the stamp set coordinates with the April OHDEERME kit :)

Below, I stamped and embossed the circle element in gold and then layered black rhinestones from the April OHDEERME kit on top of them for some extra dimension.

The stamp fonts were lovely and would coordinate well on any project or layout.

I embossed directly onto the photo below...
