You 3

Hello everyone!

I'm sharing this layout I created over at the Come On Get Crafty blog today showcasing some of my favorite products from the Fancy Pants "What A Wonderful Day" line...

I layered lots of pieces of patterned paper from the line under my photo and used the tape stickers to create my banner.

The "Be Yourself, Everyone Else Is Taken" quote is one of my favorites and I thought it went well with the photo of my three kiddos "being themselves", lol!

Shop Items UsedFancy Pants (What A Wonderful Day -  Terrific Patterned Paper, Swell Patterned Paper, This Way Patterned Paper, Tape Stickers, Sticker Fundamentals, Turquoise Corrugate Paper,  Park Bench Button Set), Basic Grey (Candy Buttons), Chic Tags (Road Trip Note Clips), Lily Bee (Sweet Shoppe Chit Chat Stickers & Letter Stickers), Freckled Fawn (Black Pinwheel Washi Tape), Divine Twine (Pink)

Photo Bomb

Happy Wednesday!  I can't believe the week is almost half over already! I've been busy with lots of upcoming DT work, but I happened to break out a layout just for fun this past weekend...

My youngest son wasn't too into getting his photo taken, but boy, Avery sure was!  She sure photo-bombed him good ;)

I wanted to mix up my style a bit and go fairly minimal...just trying something new I guess :)

The Crate Paper "The Pier" Slide Frames are so versatile and I love using them to frame out photos as well as using them to house clusters of embellishments.

Have a great day and thanks for looking!

Project Life - Week 28

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I'm sharing my Project Life spread for Week 28 over at the Come On Get Crafty blog today...

I really enjoyed using the Jade and Kraft Core Editions for this week's spread...

Left Side:

We had a very routine week...swimming, ice cream for lunch, and fresh sand in the sandbox!  I guess you could say that we're really enjoying the summer to it's fullest!

This week's quote comes from @mrsjennyg on Instagram..."Let Us Not Love With Words Only But With Our Actions + Truth".

Best moment of the week...I got to hang out with my niece, Maria, over the weekend which was just what I needed :)  Isn't she adorable?!?!

Right Side:

And here's the full spread for Week 28...

How was your Week 28?  I hope it was fabulous!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Altered Mini Clipboard Project

Happy Friday, everyone!

I'm sharing this fun project over at the Lily Bee blog today...

I found some mini clipboards at my local Wal-Mart for under $2 a piece and decided to cover them in patterned paper and dress them up a bit!

I made three...one for a calendar, one for lists, and one for keeping receipts, tickets, etc. handy and within easy reach.  I think these would also make great displays for photos, kids art, and memorabilia.

Supplies Used:  Sweet Shoppe (Licorice Whip, Embellishment Bundle), Pinwheel (Apricot Tree, Jump Rope, Flip Flops, Embellishment Bundle, Label Stickers), Destination (Chipboard Stickers)

You can see my full post here with all of the details.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

The Lake

Happy Thursday, friends!  I know I've been MIA around here lately and I wish I could say it's because I was on a tropical island relaxing and drinking Mai-Tai's, but that isn't the case ;)  I've been wrapping up ongoing house projects, cleaning, organizing my new craft space, and trying to spend time with the kids doing summertime activities because they only have a few weeks left until school starts back up again.

There's a new sketch challenge up at the Come On Get Crafty blog...

And here's my take...

I stuck close to the sketch and used those adorable AC Mayberry Tags as my background paper.  Those tags are so versatile and perfect for any summer project!

We love swimming at our friend's lake in the summer.  The water is always the perfect temperature and the kids love floating in tubes and riding in the neighbor's boats.

Shop Items Used:  American Crafts (Mayberry Raspberry Mixed Tags), Pebbles (Lakeside Chalkboard ABC Stickers, Chipboard Shapes, Phrase Stickers & Post Cards Patterned Paper), Lily Bee (Sweet Shoppe Chipboard Stickers, Embellishment Bundle, Label Stickers, & Letter Stickers), Studio Calico (Atlantic Cork Arrow Stickers, Epoxy Brads, Sequins, Wood Veneer Burnished Circles, Wood Veneer Boats and Anchors), Basic Grey (Mint Julep Woven Labels)

Be sure and check out the full post here to see how the other creative team members used the sketch and get a chance to win a $5 Gift Card to the shop!

I hope your having a great summer and thanks for stopping by!
