Life Is Good *Hip Kit Club*

Hello everyone!

I have a fun layout I created using the August 2015 Hip Kits to share with you today...

I was really inspired by the lovely Pink Fresh Studio patterned paper for this page. It's only available in the August 2015 Paper Kit so be sure and grab yours today!

I cut the Pink Fresh paper in half and then I layered it on top of the lovely Simple Stories yellow wood grain paper and stitched a large circle using black thread on it so it would keep the continuity of the large circle from the Pink Fresh paper.

I layered a journaling card from the August 2015 Project Life Kit next to my photo and in the middle of the large circle and added lots of embellishments from the August kits around them.

You can view my full post here.  Thanks so much for dropping by today!

Hey! *Hip Kit Club*

Hi everyone!

I'm sharing this layout over on the HKC blog today.  I used the lovely August 2015 Hip Kits to create it...

I was really inspired by the Pinkfresh Studio patterned paper and all of the squares so I placed some of my favorite ones down the center of my page.

I stuck my photos along the edges so they would look like they were jumping out of the middle of the messy grid.

I added some chipboard stickers from Dear Lizzy and a few glitter hearts from Freckled Fawn for extra dimension.

The wood veneer stickers from Pinkfresh Studio helped me direct the eye around my page and worked as a great neutral for my color scheme.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun *Hip Kit Club*

Hey everyone!

I'm on the Hip Kit Club blog once again with another layout using the July 2015 Hip Kits...

I love this photo of me and my daughter getting ready to head out on a "girl's day" shopping adventure. When I started on this layout I had no idea which direction I wanted to take it but I knew I wanted a long, large, title.

I layered lots of chipboard stickers from Crate Paper and some of the big cork stickers from Shimelle around my page and around my photo, but otherwise kept my design fairly simple.

Be sure and check out my full post on the HKC blog because I also have a Project Life spread that I created using the new August Hip Kits on there!

Have a great day and thanks for dropping by!

Pass The SPF *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday!

I'm sharing this layout I created using the July 2015 Hip Kits on the Hip Kit Club blog today...

I was really inspired by all of the gorgeous Crate Paper Poolside Collection Chipboard Stickers so I decided to use quite a few of them on this layout.

I also used one of the cute mason jars (also from Crate Paper) and placed a few gold sequins inside and added an umbrella to make it feel more like a fruity summer drink :)

I typed my journaling on a card from the July 2015 Project Life Kit and placed it under the 4x6 photo and added a chipboard banner sticker to it so it helped balance out my page design.

You can read more about my layout on the Hip Kit Club blog...

I hope you have a great day and thanks for dropping by!

Iconic August Ohdeerme Kit Projects *Freckled Fawn*

Hello friends,

I created these two layouts using the brand new August Ohdeerme Kit from Freckled Fawn...

I used the letter stickers from the kit for my title and colored the inside of them with a pink marker. I outlined them in black so they would stand out a bit on my page.

I placed the heart chipboard pieces together to look like flowers and placed an enamel button where the bottoms connect.

For this page, I did the same thing with the letter stickers to create my title and I added some of the gold puffy arrow stickers to the flight pattern lines on the patterned paper so it helped guide the eye around my layout.

The gold glitter heart washi tape is awesome and I made sure to place some by the black and white striped paper strips that I used.

The August kit is packed full of lovely embellishments for all of your paper crafting projects.  It's contents are perfect for planners, scrapbook layouts, Project Life spreads, and cards!
