Hello crafty friends!
I have a bunch of Valentine's Day cards that I created using this month's Life Pages kits and add-ons up on the Gossamer Blue blog today.
I love how versatile the Life Pages kits are and this month I decided to mix it up and make some quick and easy cards for Valentine's.
I basically just layered the 3x4 cards on top of the 4x6 cards from the kits and added some embellishments and ephemera.
I also created a few "pocket style" cards and filled them with little bits and tags to make them a little more interactive...
You can check out more details about my design process in my full post here.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Week 5
Happy Tuesday, everyone!
I have another pocket page spread to share with you today that I created using lots scrappy goodness from the Come On Get Crafty shop...
I can hardly believe it's Week 5 already! Wasn't New Year's Eve just last weekend?!?!
I didn't have a lot of time to include much journaling in this week's spread so I used the black letter stickers as mini titles and stitched them onto the lovely days of the week journaling cards that are available in the COGC shop.
Left Side:
This week was fairly normal for us. My son mastered the standing back tuck in tumbling and was thrilled to have earned a T-shirt and spot on the "awards board". My youngest son had a lot of homework and reading to do each night this week and we had cows in our yard for two days straight.
I curled my hair using hot rollers for the first time in forever and my daughter thought that they were just spectacular, lol! We got our first propane bill since the shortage and price hike and I thought I was going to pass out...RIDICULOUS!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Gossamer Blue and Elle's Studio Blog Hop
Happy Monday, everyone! Today the Gossamer Blue and Elle's Studio design teams are blog hopping and have TONS of creative inspiration to share with you!
I used the February Kits form Gossamer Blue that are packed full of fabulous Elle's Studio products to create my pocket page spread for Week 2...
The Elle's Studio products worked so well with the Life Pages cards and printables in this month's GB kits! I love the soft colors and bright pops of red and accented my pages using the adorable Elle's Studio Love You More! Wood Veneers that are available in February's Life Pages Themed Add-on.
I also used several Elle's Studio journaling cards and lots of the Love You More! Lil' Snippets to my spread. I added my title using the Head Over Heels Alpha Stickers from Echo Park (available in February's Main Kit) right over some of the gorgeous Doily Love patterned paper from Elle's Studio that I cut to fit the 4x6 pocket.
The alpha stickers were great to add some pops of red to my aqua and gray color scheme.
Here are a few more close-ups of my Week 2...
Next up on the hop is the super talented Anabelle O'Malley and here is a full list of the blog hop participants in case you get lost along the way ;)
And don't forget to stop by the Elle's Studio blog and the Gossamer Blue blog! Each company is giving away some great prizes so be sure and leave a comment on their blogs telling us what inspired you along the hop to be entered to win!
Good luck and happy hopping!!!

PageMaps & Gossamer Blue
Hello everyone!
This month several members of the Gossamer Blue design team got to work with some incredible sketches from PageMaps! The sketches are always so inspiring and fun to work with and I was thrilled that I got a chance to play along.
Here's the sketch I was assigned to work with...
And here's my take on it...
I used February's kits from Gossamer Blue for this layout. The kits are jam packed full of amazing papers, embellishments, and inspiration this month!
I stayed true to the sketch because I was really inspired by the design and it was a lot of fun to mix and match papers to create the "argyle effect" on the right side of my photo.
I used some of the Elle's Studio Lil' Snippets tags for the journaling on my page. The "Such A Beautiful Day" sentiment is kind of meant to be sarcastic, lol! The day I took this photo was the day we had a lot of snow and ice and I had spent most of it shoveling my way out of our driveway.
For even more inspiration and sketch ideas, head on over to the PageMaps site to check out the February sketches and to see what the Gossamer Blue design team members came up with using their sketches!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Love Fall
Happy Friday!
I had a bunch of photos from this past fall that I hadn't had a chance to scrap yet so I decided to use one of my favorite photos documenting what I love about my favorite season.
I also created this layout for today's "A Few Of My Favorite Things" post at Come On Get Crafty using some of my favorite gold accents from the COGC shop.
I added gold ephemera bits from the Maggie Holmes Flea Market Ephemera Pack, along with gold sequin leaves from Lawn Fawn on my layout. I love the contrast of the brown and gold against the blue polka dot patterned paper.
I used my typewriter to journal a few of my favorite things about fall and layered the strips on top of some gold rimmed labels that I had in my stash.
You can see my full post at the COGC blog. Thanks for stopping by...I hope you have a great day!

I Love My Valentine
Hello friends!
I'm sharing a layout I created for a Designer Take Challenge over on the Scrapbook Circle blog today. The challenge was to use a date stamp or roller stamp in a unique way.
I used the fabulous date stamp patterned paper from Crate Paper that's included in January's "This Life" kit as a background for my photo and as flower petals I created using a heart punch.
I also used an actual date stamp to create a border around my page...
You can play along with this challenge and get a chance to win a fabulous prize! All of the details are located here. Good luck and thanks for stopping by today!
