Happy Monday, friends!
I'm sharing this layout over on the Lily Bee blog today...this week's theme is all about "Back to School"!
My kiddos start back to school this week so we've been busy shopping and getting everything checked off the school supply lists. I actually still love shopping for school supplies...it's like a fresh start for everyone!
I used lots of brightly colored pieces of patterned paper from the Pinwheel and Sweet Shoppe Collections. I was inspired by the subject of geometry for my layout's design, hence all of the triangles and circles :)
Are you ready for "back to school"? For even more inspiration, be sure and stop by the Lily Bee blog to see how Diane interpreted the theme.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Come On Get Crafty August Sketch Challenge
Happy Saturday! This is our last official weekend of summer because my kiddos start school this week...I think we're all ready for the change :)
There's a new sketch challenge up on the Come On Get Crafty blog...
And here's what I came up with using the sketch...
I had this great photo of a double rainbow that had I captured one afternoon after a summer rain. It's kind of hard to see the second one from the photo, but it's there :)
I used lots of rainbow colors and embellishments for this layout to help pull out my theme from my photograph. I also stayed very true to the sketch and really liked using the rainbow ruler washi tape as my side borders.
Shop Items Used: Basic Grey (Candy Buttons), Elle's Studio (Saltwater Cutouts, L'il Snippets, and Tabs), Lily Bee (Sweet Shoppe Circle & Tag Stickers, Sweet Shoppe Embellishment Bundle), Fancy Pants (What A Wonderfu Day Sticker Fundamentals), Crate Paper (The Pier Paper Pad)
Please be sure and stop by the blog and check out how the other amazing creative team members used the sketch. You can also get a chance to win a $5 Gift Card to the Come On Get Crafty online shop by linking up your take to the Saturday Sketch post by August 23, 2013. Good luck and I hope you have a great weekend!

Cool Spoons
Hello everyone and happy Thursday!
Can you believe it's August 1st already!!! The summer is winding down fast so I'm trying to squeeze in as much summer fun as I can with my kiddos before they head back to school in a couple of weeks. I had to run a few boring errands with them recently, so I bribed them with ice cream for lunch after we were done :) They thought it was a real treat! Hey, whatever works right?!?!
We each enjoyed a huge bowl of ice cream and a variety of toppings (including bacon!). It was delicious! It's also always fun to see the crazy flavor combinations the kids come up with.
I used lots of tags from the Road Trip Collection on this layout. I love that the Road Trip tags work for any theme, not just travel :)

You 3
Hello everyone!
I'm sharing this layout I created over at the Come On Get Crafty blog today showcasing some of my favorite products from the Fancy Pants "What A Wonderful Day" line...
I layered lots of pieces of patterned paper from the line under my photo and used the tape stickers to create my banner.
The "Be Yourself, Everyone Else Is Taken" quote is one of my favorites and I thought it went well with the photo of my three kiddos "being themselves", lol!
Shop Items Used: Fancy Pants (What A Wonderful Day - Terrific Patterned Paper, Swell Patterned Paper, This Way Patterned Paper, Tape Stickers, Sticker Fundamentals, Turquoise Corrugate Paper, Park Bench Button Set), Basic Grey (Candy Buttons), Chic Tags (Road Trip Note Clips), Lily Bee (Sweet Shoppe Chit Chat Stickers & Letter Stickers), Freckled Fawn (Black Pinwheel Washi Tape), Divine Twine (Pink)
You can check out my full post here and be sure and stop by the shop for $15 Grab Bags!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
