Interactive Layout

Hello and happy Thursday!

I shared this layout I created for Chic Tags on their blog yesterday...

I made sort of a mini album right on my page.  I also created a pocket to hold a letter I intend on giving my hubby for our anniversary next month.

I layered different sizes of patterned paper from the Happy Place and Good Tidings collections on the left side of my page and stitched them right onto the background piece.  I also added some vellum and used lots of gold accents.

I left a blank space on the photo strip I created and layered a clear acetate tag which I stamped the "You Are My Happy Place" sentiment onto using black StazOn ink.

You can see even more photos and details about my page on the Chic Tags blog.  Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

#FIRSTDAY

Happy Sunday!

Here's a layout I created for the Sketch It Out Challenge that's up on the Chic Tags blog today...

I used the new Schoolhouse Collection which was perfect for the photos of my kids on their first day of school.

This year I have a sixth grader, a first grader, and a pre-schooler...where does the time go?!?!

To play along with us, just create a layout and and leave a link to your post in the comments section here by Noon on Saturday, November 30th, and a random winner will be chosen to win a Chic Tags grab bag prize!

Have a great day!

3 of a Kind

Hello everyone!

It's Challenge Sunday over at Chic Tags and this week's challenge is to find inspiration in this Pinterest poster/ad/design...

I loved the design, but wanted to tilt it to the right, so here's what I came up with...

Supplies Used:  Everyday Life II (Note Clips), Road Trip (Cards), Birthday Cake (Labels)

Be sure and play along for a chance to win a $20 grab bag from Chic Tags!  Link up your creations here and make sure you check out how the other DT members used the Pinterest piece.

Have a great day and TFL!
