Home Work

Happy Monday, friends!

I have another project to share with you today that I created for my guest post at shimelle.com using the negative piece of some chipboard packaging as a mask.

I cut out the shape I wanted to use from the chipboard packaging, positioned it on my page like a mask, and misted over the top of it using spray ink to create the arrow/chevron shape pointing to my title.  I also did the same thing on the top right and bottom left corners using yellow spray ink.

I was busy editing photos and blog posting one day when I captured this "selfie" shot in the reflection of my desktop computer.  My youngest thinks that I'm doing my "homework" when I'm busy at the computer desk, ha ha! Best homework ever I always tell her!

Have a great day and TFL!

  1. lovely! love the sprayed ink!!

  2. Love how you created the masking on this page Adrienne, and such a cute use of the Carta Bella on your layout!

  3. oh yeah totally... best homework ever! What a great layout. The colours are just perfect, and I love your tip about spraying through old packaging.
