Happy Monday, everyone!
There's a new challenge up on the Scrapbook Circle blog that's all about using tags and you can play along to get a chance to win a fabulous prize pack from American Crafts.
Here's my take on this challenge...
I used the February kit Hello Today from Scrapbook Circle for this page and a photo of me and my hubby on our wedding day and one of us eight years later (we celebrated our eight year anniversary this past week)...
I layered several tags from the Chickaniddy paper that's available in the February kit across my page and in between my two photos.
I thought the "Then/Now" flair button from October Afternoon was the perfect addition for my layout and I layered several label stickers underneath it...
Be sure and head over to the SBC blog to find out more info about my layout and about the giveaway!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Love This Girl
Hello and happy Sunday!
I created this layout using a quick and easy crayon resist technique that I shared on the Freckled Fawn blog earlier this week...
I also used embellishments from recent OHDEERME kits which you can shop for here.
I had this adorable photo of my daughter all snuggled up with her favorite stuffed animals and sporting a fluffy pair of wolf ears from our recent trip to the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City that I just couldn't resist scrapping.
To see how this page came together and for more information on how I used the crayon resist technique, head on over to the FF blog.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Books
Hello friends!
I'm sharing this layout and a little technique for how I created all of the arrows I used on my page over on the Come On Get Crafty blog today...
I used lots of Crate Paper items from the shop, along with some Jenni Bowlin sequins and some fun washi tape from Glitz Design.
I was really inspired by the chevron patterned paper from Crate Paper. You can see how I created the arrows and more details about my page here.
I hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweethearts
Happy Tuesday, everyone!
Yesterday my husband and I celebrated 8 years of marriage so I thought it was fitting to post this layout I created for the Gossamer Blue blog using their February kits...
My oldest son took this photo of my hubby and I back in November when we went to visit him in KC. He's been working out there for almost five months now so this was the first year we celebrated our anniversary apart.
I used Gossamer Blue's February Kits and Add-ons for this 8.5x11 layout.
You can find out more details about how I created this clothesline banner on the GB blog.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Happy Puppy
Happy Monday, friends!
I'm sharing my Take 2 layout over on the Scrapbook Circle blog today. Take 2 is where you scraplift yourself using a favorite layout from the past. It's a great way to get inspired and the results are always amazing!
I used the February kit Hello Today for this layout about our sweet little puppy, Lily, that we lost back in January. Before she passed away I had a chance to get a couple cute photos of her in the snow.
I used several of this month's printables and die cuts on my layout. I filled in some of the circles in the photo below using the super cute Chickaniddy Date Night Enamel Hearts.
To see which layout I scraplifted to create this one, head on over to the SBC blog and check it out!

You're The Peanut Butter To My Jelly
Hello everyone!
I shared a "love" inspired layout on the Come On Get Crafty blog on Valentine's Day featuring a few of my favorite things from the shop...
Aqua and arrows! I layered the Webster's Pages Recorded Arrow Overlay on top of some white card stock and stitched around it in yellow for a color pop. I also added some wood veneers from Crate Paper and kept my overall color scheme in aqua with a few accents of pink and yellow.
I layered some patterned paper behind the die cut card from American Crafts and added a few cork arrows to point towards the candid photos of my kiddos.
Be sure and stop by the shop to find a few of your "favorite things"! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

This week's theme is "Love This" so I decided to document something I'm currently loving right now...spending some special one-on-one time with my daughter each morning before she goes to preschool. You can see my entire layout and full post here. I hope you get a chance to check it out!
Have a great day!

Happy Mail
Happy Monday!
There's a new sketch challenge for February on the Scrapbook Circle blog! Make sure to share your work using the sketch on the Scrapbook Circle Facebook Page or on the SBC blog in the comment section before Wednesday, February 19th. The players and one winner will be announced on the SBC blog on February 21, 2014.
Here's my take on the sketch...
I used February's kit, "Hello Today" for this layout and stuck close to the sketch, but added a few more layers of patterned paper behind my photo.
I used my Cameo to cut out the "Mail" sentiment for my title. The gold foil paper cut like a dream!
Be sure and stop by the SBC blog to see what the other creative team members did with the sketch and play along to win a fabulous prize pack from American Crafts!
Have a great day and TFL!

Week 4
I have my pocket page spread for Week 4 to share with you today using the February kits from Gossamer Blue...
I used the exclusive stamp sets that are available in the February Main Kits to stamp the tiny word sentiments on the heart filler card below. The words fit perfectly in the hearts!
It was another frigid week with sub-zero temps so I took the kiddos to see "The Nut Job" on their day off of school for MLK day...they loved it, of course :)
Left Side:
I kept my embellishing fairly simple for this week's spread and added a lot of journaling using my typewriter. I stamped on this spread a lot more than I normally do and I used lots of the wood veneers that are available in the kits.
I used a PSE photo template from Design Editor for the photo above. The hubby and I went bowling for the first time in over four years and had a blast!
Right Side:
And here's the full spread for Week 4...
Thanks for stopping by today and happy Sunday!

Farm Girl
Happy Saturday, everyone!
It's time for another sketch challenge over on the Come On Get Crafty blog. You can play along with the sketch and get a chance to win a $5 gift card to the COGC shop (more details about that here).
Here's my take on the sketch...
My husband had these cute photos of our daughter on his phone (it's always a fun surprise to find great pics on there!) from when they went to play at my dad's shed for the afternoon. She loves to climb on and investigate the equipment and even told us that she wanted to be a "farm girl" when she grew up! Little does she know she already is one ;)
I stayed true to the sketch and used lots of goodies from the COGC shop for this layout.
Make sure you stop by the COGC blog and check out what the other creative members did with this sketch...they will BLOW you away!
Have a great weekend and TFL!

Love You Lots!
Hello everyone!
I had a blast creating with the OHDEERME kit from Freckled Fawn this month. I just loved every bit of it!
Here are a couple of layouts that I created using this month's kit...
I kept the design for this layout fairly simple and minimalistic. I love how the transparencies look against the white card stock background and I added a punched pattern paper circle behind the resin cameos to help them stand out a bit more.
The enamel arrow stickers are the absolute cutest and I added several around my photo to point towards the photo of my and my hubby.
I used both of the frame transparencies on this layout...one on top of my photo and one to house my journaling which I typed and printed from my computer.

For this next layout, I used some more of the transparencies and lots of the metal hearts that are available in the kit.
I also used some of the stamps in the set and turned the "WOW" paperclip upside down to say "MOM".

Be sure and check out this month's kit and all of the lovely embellishments in it here. And an added bonus is that it comes in a yellow star zippered pouch that is just too cute for words!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
