Hello Summer *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday!

I'm still using the June 2015 Hip Kits for my summer-themed layouts and I have another one up on the Hip Kit Club blog today....

I used the leftover X's and O's from the layout I created last week and stamped behind the O's using the June 2015 Color Kit.  I layered lots of ephemera pieces from Crate Paper on top and around the X's and O's.

I printed two small photos and placed them in the dual frame that's also from Crate Paper and journaled in another frame and placed it close to my photos.

To see more details about my layout, head on over to the Hip Kit Club blog.

I hope you have a wonderful day! TFL!

Summer This & That *Hip Kit Club*

Hello crafty friends!

I shared this layout on the Hip Kit Club blog yesterday that I created using the June 2015 Hip Kits and a free cut file that's available on the Hip Kit Club Member Forum Facebook page!

I used the gorgeous patterned paper from Simple Stories that's available in the June 2015 Main Kit for my background and cut out the x's and o's using the same paper and layering it on top of the "B" side.

I went crazy with the embellishments and layers and placed everything around the center of my page where I printed a 4x4 photo grid from my printer.

There were so many amazing embellishments in this month's kits that I couldn't help but use most of them, lol!

Be sure and head to our Member Forum on Facebook to snag this free cut file for yourself!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for dropping by!

Summer Play *Hip Kit Club*

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday!

I'm sharing this fun summer-inspired layout over on the Hip Kit Club blog today...

I used the lovely June 2015 Hip Kits to create this layout.  They are just gorgeous and I was instantly drawn to that fun diagonal-striped patterned paper that's available in the main kit.

I typed my journaling on vellum and placed a chipboard photo frame from Crate Paper on top to hold it to my page.  I love how you can still see that beautiful patterned paper through the vellum.

I used several of the chipboard frames from Crate Paper and layered them on top of my photos and added several wood veneer embellishments around them.

You can see more info about my layout on the Hip Kit Club blog.  And be sure and check out this amazing offer from HKC...

Oh The Memories Of Dance *Come On Get Crafty*

Hello everyone!

I'm sharing this layout on the Come On Get Crafty blog for today's Product Showcase...

I used items from the Basic Grey Aurora Collection for this layout.  I love the navy and aqua color combo and how it coordinates so well with my photo.

I also added a few gold ink splatters and some gold embellishments for an additional color pop.

The BG Aurora Chipboard pieces are great for layering and adding extra dimension to any project!

And how fun are those letter stickers?!?! You can see my full post on the COGC blog.

Ooh La La *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Sunday everyone!

I'm sharing this layout on the Hip Kit Club blog today that I created using the May 2015 Hip Kits...

The color scheme I chose for this layout was inspired by this photo of my daughter that was taken right before her dance recital last month. I used three different patterned papers from the May 2015 Hip Kits and lots of coordinating embellishments from the Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss collection to create my page.

I added several gold embellies for an extra color twist and focused on embellishing around the chipboard frames I used.  I love how chipboard adds so much dimension!

For more info about my layout, head on over to the Hip Kit Club blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

June OHDEERME Kit Projects *Freckled Fawn*

Hello everyone!

I have two layouts to share with you today that I created using the June OhDeerMe Kit from Freckled Fawn...

Hot Day At The K

By far my most favorite embellishment in the June Kit is the adorable painted wood chips that I lined up on top of my photos in the middle of my page.  They're so stinkin' cute!

I also really love the beautiful rainbow striped washi tape that came in June's kit.  I used it on the bottom of my journaling tags to add some color and across the top of my layout.

Treats & Sweets

For this layout, I used the square epoxy stickers from the kit and layered them on punched circles.  I used them to anchor the clusters around my page and to help bring your eye around the layout.

The felt letters are also a favorite of mine and I glued them to my page before I machine stitched through my title.

Be sure and grab your June OhDeerMe kit before they're sold out and share your projects with us on our Facebook page.

Thanks for visiting today!  I hope you have a great rest of the week!

Hello Spring *Hip Kit Club*

Hello friends!

I'm sharing another layout on the Hip Kit Club blog today using more of the May 2015 Hip Kits...

I know summer is upon us, but I couldn't resist stepping back a couple of weeks and documenting some of the gorgeous blooms that my flowers produced at the height of Spring.

I kept my layout design simple and added a Evalicious journaling card from the May 2015 Project Life Hip Kit at the bottom right of my page.
