Hello Lovely *Freckled Fawn*

Hello crafty friends,

I shared a sweet and simple tutorial on how I used the July "Silver Lining" Cut Files from Freckled Fawn on the blog last Friday...

I also used the July Ohdeerme Kit contents and a few others from my stash for this page.

You can see the full tutorial and more photos of this layout here.  Thanks for stopping by today!

J & A *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday!

I'm over on the Hip Kit Club blog today sharing this layout I created using the July 2015 Hip Kits...

I cut out the star and hexagon shapes from a piece of the Crate Paper Poolside "Lawn Chair" patterned paper that I used to create the fun shapes on this page.  I also cut out some of the individual words and phrases from the October Afternoon patterned paper and placed them in some of the polka dots along with a few other punched circles and ephemera bits.

I layered other items from the July kits on top of the star/hexagon shapes such as cork stickers from AC and chipboard and ephemera from Crate Paper.

I placed my journaling inside of a photo frame and added a few ink splatters and was done. The Hip Kits make it so easy to put a page together in no time!

You can see my full post about this page on the Hip Kit Club blog today! Thanks for dropping by!

Project Life Weeks 27 & 28 *Hip Kit Club*

Hello friends!

I shared my Project Life spread for Weeks 27 & 28 on the Hip Kit Club blog the other day...

I used the July 2015 Hip Kits for this layout and I'm still loving that I can get two weeks on a spread!

Week 27

We spent Week 27 getting ready for the Fourth of July weekend and hanging out with family and friends.

I got real artistic and painted me and Avery's toes red, white, and blue for the occasion.

Week 28

Week 28 was normal and fairly uneventful, however my hubby and I did manage to have a date night on Thursday.

To read more about how I put this spread together, head on over to the Hip Kit Club blog for more details.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Splash Into Summer *Hip Kit Club*

Hello everyone!

I shared another summer-themed layout over on the Hip Kit Club blog yesterday...

I used the July 2015 Hip Kits to create this page. Once again the kits are amazing this month and packed full of summer inspired products!

I layered lots of bits and pieces around my photo and used one of the journaling cards that's available in the July 2015 Project Life Kit to house my journaling.

To see all the info about how I created this page, head on over to the Hip Kit Club blog and don't forget to stick around for the full reveal of the August 2015 Hip Kits!

Have a great day and thanks for dropping by today!

Good Times and Ice Cream *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I'm sharing a very layered layout on the Hip Kit Club blog today that I created using the June 2015 Hip Kits...

I started with my photo and then added lots of ephemera bits from the Crate Paper Poolside Collection.

I added several chipboard frames (also from the Crate Paper Poolside Collection) and placed my journaling that I printed off on vellum inside one of the frames.

I also added several wood veneer pieces from Evalicious that I colored with the yellow pigment ink from Avery Elle that's available in the June 2015 Color Kit. I love how vivid and bright the ink looks on my page!

I also added several stickers from the Crate Paper Poolside Collection, some strips of washi tape, and a fun tag from Fancy Pants to finish my layout.  I forget how much I love to layer on my pages!  Sometimes I feel I've gone overboard, but I really do like the way it turned out :)

Thanks for stopping by...I hope you have a fabulous day!

Tasty Treats *Come On Get Crafty*

Hello everyone!

I created a layout for the Come On Get Crafty blog today using "Something Old and Something New" from the COGC shop...

I had pieces of the Cheerful Chalkboard Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party patterned paper leftover and used it because the sentiments on it went so well with the photos of my son being silly and getting crazy with his ice cream cake.

I paired it with some new Elle's Studio labels and October Afternoon embellishments that coordinated with the other colors of patterned paper I chose.

I had also been hoarding that large wood veneer ampersand so I painted it white and added it to the bottom of my page.  I love how using leftover or hoarded goodies with fresh, new supplies can come together so well!  To see more info about my layout, head on over to the COGC blog today.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
