Oh, Happy Day!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!  

It's the beginning of a new month and that means a new sketch from the talented Shanna Noel!  

And here's my take on the sketch...

I stuck very close to the sketch and decided to split one photo into two so I could make my son (who's holding up six fingers for turning six) stand out.  I also added lots of vellum speech bubbles and small embellishments around the layered photos. 

I used lots of SC printables and some bits and pieces from recent kits for this page.

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Happy Tuesday, friends!

Today I'm playing along with some friends and using a sketch from the amazingly talented Shanna Noel...

And here's my take...

I was really inspired by the colors and the lines of the sketch, so I stuck close to it :)  I used bits and pieces from recent SC kits, Kelly Purkey journaling cards, and leftovers from my December Daily stash for this layout.  

My favorite element on this layout is the aqua sequined arrow from Heidi Swapp...swoon!
