If you haven't already heard, Freckled Fawn now has their own line of washi tapes! So to celebrate, we're having a blog hop, giveaways, and lots of fun!!! If you started from the Freckled Fawn blog, then you're in the right spot...I'm No. 2 on the hop!
Here's a layout I put together using their new tapes from the He said, She said line...
The new tapes that I've used on this layout are the FF Woodgrain washi, the FF He&She washi, and the FF Arrow washi. I also used Wide Woodgrain washi and the Days of the Week washi as well.
I used the "Fall Head Over Heels" Cameo cut from last month's Studio Calico class, Pop Off The Page as my inspiration piece for this entire layout. I wanted it to really stand out as the title so I layered the washi in strips behind it, added some mistable arrows, and put a piece of patterned paper behind the actual cut itself.
The photos from this layout are of me and my hubby getting ready to go to a wedding a few weeks ago. It is a very rare thing to get a pic of us together, so when I get one I scrap it! We have been together for almost 8 years now (hence the "8" die cut) so this layout was a little love tribute to us! We've had our ups and downs, but I'm still "head over heels" for him :)
I used lots of layers around my photos...paper, washi, lace, tags, stitching, etc. Most of it was from September's SC kit, Central High +Add-ons.
Now that you've seen what I can do with the new washi, leave a comment on this post telling me which new washi tape is your favorite. One lucky Table Scraps reader will win ALL 3 TAPES! And for even more chances to win, head on over to the other blogs on the hop and leave a comment there, too! There will be one set of ALL 3 TAPES given away at each blog! How exciting is that?!?! Good luck and all winners will be announced on Monday, October 8th.
Next stop on the hop is Brandy Layton's blog...http://manyadventuresofbran.blogspot.com/ and if you get off track, here is the full lineup in order...
