Celebrate Summer
Happy Wednesday!
I'm sharing this layout over at the Chic Tags blog today...
Summer is in full swing around our neck of the woods and we love spending time outside soaking up the sun and enjoying the sprinkler. The Chic Tags Freebie Printables and Summer Title Cut File were perfect additions to my summer themed layout.
I used some Mister Huey's Neon Yellow and Orange mist to match the "Let The Sunshine" cut to my color scheme.
Supplies Used: Road Trip (Note Circles, File ATCs, Note Clips), Everyday Life II (Mini Tags), Birthday Cake (Mini Tags), Summer Titles Freebie Cut File, Freebie Printable 1.75 inch Circles
I hope your summer is off to a great start! Thanks for stopping by :)

The colors in their collections work so well with many themes and styles, too.

Happy Tuesday, friends!
I had these great Easter photos of my daughter hunting eggs and I thought that the Cottage Farms Collection was perfect for this layout.

Project Life - Week 17
Happy Monday, everyone!
I'm so excited that I finally get to share my spread for Week 17! It was one of the projects that I had created for my Pink Paislee Guest DT spot so I couldn't post it until now...
I used LOTS of goodies from both the Cottage Farms and the Luxe Collections...and I have to say that this is probably one of my most favorite spreads so far :)
Left Side:
I honestly can't believe how much has changed around our home since just a few weeks ago...
I'm so thankful that I have kept up with this amazing project. Looking back through the weeks of this year really put life into perspective and it's such a great way to document our memories. No matter how small or insignificant they might seem, to us, it's our entire life together :)
Have a great day and TFL!

Happy Sunday!
I hope you're having a great weekend :) I plan on scrapping all day because it's wet and rainy outside, so it's the perfect opportunity to create.
Here's a layout I created the other day using an action photo of my son practicing his jumps on his skateboard...
I used "A Beautiful Mess" photo app on my iPhone for the dotted border on the photo. I pulled colors from my photo for my color scheme and layered strips of patterned paper and vellum behind my photo.
I really love the trendy travel themes, but we don't travel often and very rarely by plane, so I was stoked when I got to use the airplane chipboard pieces for this layout.
I added the Freckled Fawn Dew Drop Sunburst Stickers for extra sparkle and shine and I just love how well the colors coordinate!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Pink Paislee Guest DT
Happy Friday and happy 1st day of summer!!!
I went all out girly and glam for this layout :) I had yet to scrap a photo of myself since I turned 30 last August and I thought the Luxe and Cottage Farms Collections were perfect for this photo.
I misted the white doilies with some Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold Lame before I layered them underneath my photo.
One of my favorite items from the Luxe Collection are the Rub-Ons...they were so fun to add to my photo and around different elements on my page.
The Cottage Farms Collection is so versatile that you can use it for feminine or more masculine layouts, such as this one.
I love the bright pops of color from the patterned paper and the Paper Goods Ephemera pack.
I'm over at the Pink Paislee blog today with LOTS of creations I made using their beautiful Cottage Farms and Luxe Collections. You can check out the full post here.
Today I'm sharing a couple of the layouts I made for the guest spot...
"Me @30"

You Are My Fave
Happy Thursday, friends!
I posted this layout on the Come On Get Crafty blog yesterday...
I was showcasing two of my favorite products in the shop...Freckled Fawn Wood Chips and American Crafts Hopscotch Bits. I honestly think that anything wood veneer is awesome and LOVE using it on my pages!
I used my Silhouette to cut out all of the white card stock pieces on my page. I've really been putting that thing to work lately :)
Shop Items Used: American Crafts (My Girl Hopscotch Bits, Mayberry Cupcake Shaped Wooden Buttons), Freckled Fawn (Cloud Wood Chips, Heart Wood Chips), Lily Bee (Sweet Shoppe Chit Chat Stickers, Circles & Tags Stickers)
You can see my full post over at http://www.shessocrafty.typepad.com. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Project Life - Week 24
Hello everyone! I completed Week 24 of my Project Life yesterday...it was a struggle due to many, many interruptions, but I was really happy with the results :)
Here's a look at my full spread for the week of June 10 - 16th...
It was a busy week with lots of reasons to celebrate! My oldest son turned 11 on Tuesday, our shed was completed (officially) on Wednesday, my father turned the big 60 on Saturday, and we celebrated Father's Day on Sunday. Whew, what a week!
The weather finally started to feel more like summer this week. The notorious Southern Illinois heat and humidity have arrived!
Oh, and I got my new countertops installed on Thursday, which meant we were without an actual working kitchen for a few days. Thankfully, it went by fast and now I'm ready for phase 2 of our kitchen reno.
I used lots of Moments Cards from Nicole Reaves in this week's spread. I just love the fonts and designs on these cards, they're perfect for my summertime spreads!
The "Summer 2013" circle embellishment is from one of Chic Tags' Freebie Friday posts! You can download the summer themed printables here.
How was your Week 24? I hope it was fabulous and that you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back here Friday to see another special Project Life post! :) :)

Summer 2013
Happy Monday, friends!
I'm sharing a layout over on the Lily Bee blog today along with the super talented Cindy Liebel that's all about summertime favorites and traditions...
I decided to use my Silhouette and cut out a large sunburst for a bold background. I placed separate strips of patterned paper under each ray and used my sewing machine to stitch them down.
I used random photos of some of our family's favorite summer activities such as playing at the park, lounging on the beach, and just hanging out at home on a warm, sunny day.
I cut out the speech bubbles from the Flip-Flops paper from the Pinwheel collection.
Supplies Used: Sweet Shoppe (JuJu Bee, Candy Stick, Label Stickers, Chit Chat Stickers), PInwheel (Sprinklers, Flip-Flops, Flower Box, 6x6 Tiny Tablet, Letter Stickers)
Be sure and check out Cindy's layout about her family's favorite summer tradition here.
Have a great day and thanks for looking!
