Happy Thursday, friends! I know I've been MIA around here lately and I wish I could say it's because I was on a tropical island relaxing and drinking Mai-Tai's, but that isn't the case ;) I've been wrapping up ongoing house projects, cleaning, organizing my new craft space, and trying to spend time with the kids doing summertime activities because they only have a few weeks left until school starts back up again.
There's a new sketch challenge up at the Come On Get Crafty blog...
And here's my take...
I stuck close to the sketch and used those adorable AC Mayberry Tags as my background paper. Those tags are so versatile and perfect for any summer project!
We love swimming at our friend's lake in the summer. The water is always the perfect temperature and the kids love floating in tubes and riding in the neighbor's boats.
Shop Items Used: American Crafts (Mayberry Raspberry Mixed Tags), Pebbles (Lakeside Chalkboard ABC Stickers, Chipboard Shapes, Phrase Stickers & Post Cards Patterned Paper), Lily Bee (Sweet Shoppe Chipboard Stickers, Embellishment Bundle, Label Stickers, & Letter Stickers), Studio Calico (Atlantic Cork Arrow Stickers, Epoxy Brads, Sequins, Wood Veneer Burnished Circles, Wood Veneer Boats and Anchors), Basic Grey (Mint Julep Woven Labels)
Be sure and check out the full post here to see how the other creative team members used the sketch and get a chance to win a $5 Gift Card to the shop!
I hope your having a great summer and thanks for stopping by!
oh I love this! I must give this sketch a try!:)
