Pieces of Me Mini

I just finished up with the last page of my "Pieces of Me" mini album yesterday.  It was so fun to put together that I actually had to make myself stop adding pages!  It's super chunky, just the way I like it, and it's all about (you guessed it!) me...

I ordered the kit that went with this class so I had everything ready to go when I started.

All the photos in my album were printed off of my home printer at 3x3.  The album itself is 4x6.

I cut, folded, and sewed this brown paper bag that was leftover from some scrapbooking supplies to create this 4x6 page in my album.  As you can see in the next photo, I even saved the sticker that was attached.  It made a nice touch to my "love of scrapbooking" spread :)

How cute is that chevron glassine envelope?  I put the "packed by" cards that come in my SC kits every month inside of it.  Then I took a few extra and placed them on the page behind the envelope to add some color to the bold, black and white patterned paper.

I used a page from one of my favorite magazines for the page behind the "YUM" tag.  Once again, I cut, folded, and sewed it to the back of a piece of patterned paper for some added stability.

One of my favorite things about this mini is the random sized pages I used to create it.  I love how they add extra layers and dimension all on their own.

I punched confetti and slipped it into a vellum envelope and stitched the opening shut....love this trendy technique.

For my "I love cheap clothes" spread, I slipped a few saved clothing tags into the little manila envelope that came with this kit.

I put a few photos of my closet and my favorite new pair of shorts into this glassine envelope and added it behind the little manila envelope.

The POM kit came with it's own exclusive stamp set...I love the little "smile" sentiment that I added all over the red tag on this page!

I made a little envelope out of the vintage book paper behind the picture of the kids.  Inside is a few more photos of them from that day.

I tucked away my journaling for this page in the yellow chevron envelope.

The big "smile" sentiment was cut out using my Cameo.  The download for it was included in the class, too.

For this page, I used the negative from the "smile" sentiment that I cut out of my Cameo and sewed around three sides to make a pocket for some photos of us out with our friends.

The last page is a picture of my family together in one of my Dad's fields on Mother's Day weekend.  Not pictured is my hubby...he's the one taking the picture ;)

I told you is was super chunky!

Happy Friday!  Have a great weekend!
