Grateful *Shimmerz Paints*

Hey, everyone!

I shared this fun layout on the Shimmerz Paints blog yesterday...I had a great photo of me and my kiddos that was taken this past Mother's Day that I couldn't wait to scrap!

To begin, I used some Dazzlerz in Red-iculous and a heart stencil from my stash to create the slightly shimmering textured hearts on my background paper.

Next, I used the colors in the photo for my color scheme inspiration and chose some Coloringz spray inks from Shimmerz in Oh Say Can U Sea, Night Moves, and Mamma Sings the Blues to add some mist to my layout. I just lightly sprayed the Oh Say Can U Sea Coloringz spray paint on top of the texture paste once it was dry.

I added ink splatters in the Night Moves, a gorgeous matte black, and some in Mamma Sings the Blues for an added cool tone. I embellished my layout using some gold puffy hearts and black accents to coordinate with my overall color scheme.

I love how the hearts just pop off of the page, don't you? Thanks for stopping by today! I hope the rest of your week is lovely!

Hey There, Sunshine! *Shimmerz Paints*

Hello, everyone!

I'm really excited to share this fun layout with you today that I created using some Coloringz non-shimmering spray inks and Dazzlerz shimmering dimensional paste! I also shared this on the Shimmerz Paints blog yesterday...

For this layout, I wanted to use a large title and a black and white photo because I wanted to add different Shimmerz paint colors so they would POP! I started by choosing a very lightly colored piece of patterned paper from my stash and misting some Coloringz spray paints on it in No Yoking, Mandarin Mai Tai, Don't Citron Me, and Pretty in Pink.

Next, I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out a large title for my page using some bright aqua card stock. I layered the cut file on top of the misted patterned paper after it dried and then placed the photo of me and my daughter toward the bottom.

I placed several puffy sticker embellishments around my page and decided I needed some black to accent my black and white photo so I used some Dazzlerz shimmering dimensional paste in Licorice Stick and a stencil to create some textured hearts in a few places on my layout.

After the Dazzlerz dried, I journaled next to my photo and sprinkled a few more ink splatters around my layout being extra careful not to get any on my photo!

This layout was so simple to create! All it took was some card stock, a photo, a few simple embellishments, and some Shimmerz! Thanks so much for joining me and I hope you have a wonderful day!
