My Heart Is So Full Of Joy *Hip Kit Club*

Hello everyone!

I shared this festive holiday layout on the Hip Kit Club blog today...

I used the gorgeous November 2015 Hip Kits and my favorite photo of my kiddos from last year to create this page.

The November 2015 Hip Kits are jam packed full of products from Pink Fresh Studio, Crate Paper, October Afternoon, Simple Stories and more! I chose the Pink Fresh Studio patterned paper from the December Documented 2015 kit as the base of my layout.

I added several of the November cut files created by Nicole Nowosad that are available here and lots of sparkly and festive holiday embellishments from the kits around my photo and on the right side of the page.

I mixed up my lengthy title with different letter stickers and a heart sticker from Heidi Swap for added visual interest.

Be sure and grab you November kits from Hip Kit Club before they're gone and join us for the Cyber Monday sale on November 20th, 2015 for some amazing deals!

Have a great day and happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!

2015 December Documented Album Foundation Pages *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I have my December Documented foundation pages to share with you today! Yay!

Making my December Documented album is one of my favorite projects and this year I'm using the November 2015 Hip Kits from Hip Kit Club to create my album.

My design goal is to keep my pages fairly clean and simple, but I know myself to well and will most likely embellish the heck out of these pages in the end, lol!

Before I begin creating my foundation pages, I always go back through my past December albums to see what I want to include (or not include) in this year's book. I also don't adhere everything down when I create my base pages. I like to leave things loose and slip them into the pockets in case I need to change, rearrange, or add extra photos or journaling during the month.

I usually add a fun confetti pocket or two each year for a whimsical effect. I like to stitch my confetti pocket together using my sewing machine, but I know a lot of you probably have that awesome Fuse tool so I'm sure that would work well, too.

The color scheme in the November kits is so gorgeous and I just love how well everything coordinates. Our very own Kim Watson designed so many of the November Kit items meaning many of the kit contents are exclusive to HKC!

I haven't created the outside of my album from Simple Stories yet, but I plan on doing that very soon!

I like to include our yearly Christmas card in my album, as well as the cards I receive from family and friends, so I made this page with ours from this year but I'm not sure if it will be included in the front or back of my album yet.

Have you began creating your December album yet? If you're still in the planning or thinking phase, be sure and grab a kit from Hip Kit Club today! It'll have your creative juices flowing in no time and will make your December Documented pages a snap to make!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful day!

Grateful *Hip Kit Club*

Hello everyone!

I shared this layout over on the Hip Kit Club blog yesterday...

I used the October 2015 Hip Kits to create my page and I was really inspired by the shots of my daughter throwing leaves into the air for my overall design.

I used the entire sheet of the Pink Paislee Cedar Lane Word Jumble Mini Stickers from the October 2015 Embellishment Kit to offset my vertical photo placement. I love how the transparent aqua looks against the black and white polka-dotted paper.

I used the October leaf cut files created by Nicole Nowosad and layered them down the right side of my page next to my photos. I also layered a few leaves on the left side of my layout to add some color pop and dimension.

The October 2015 Hip Kits are perfect for all of your fall-themed projects and designs so be sure and grab yours today!

Thanks for dropping by!

Project Life Weeks 39 & 40 *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I'm sharing my Project Life spread for Weeks 39 & 40 on the Hip Kit Club Facebook page today!

I used the October 2015 Hip Kits and some visual inspiration from this month's moodboard to create my PL spread for Weeks 39 & 40 of this year.

As you can see below, I pulled my color scheme, arrow elements, and vibe from this month's moodboard.

The colors in my photos coordinated well with this month's PL kit and helped me set an early "fall mood" for my spread.

The die cuts from Pebbles, Inc. were some of my favorite embellishments to use for these two weeks. I also really loved adding the stickers from the Jen Hadfield DIY Home Collection because they helped give my spread extra dimension without being bulky.

Week 39

I kept the right side of my spread (Week 40) cohesive with the left side by using the same color scheme and letter stickers from the October 2015 PL kit

I also used embellishments from the same collections and typed my journaling for both weeks to keep the overall page flow consistent.

The October kits made it so easy for me to pull my spread together quickly!

November Ohdeerme Projects *Freckled Fawn*

Hello crafty friends!

Here are three layouts that I created using the November Ohdeerme Kit "Together Is Best" that's on sale now!

The November ODM kit is packed full of gorgeous goodies that are perfect for any theme or project!

I was really digging those large vellum alpha letters, so I created my layouts around large titles this month.

The green letters coordinate well with so many different colors schemes and the wood veneer "great day" phrase was the perfect size for a mixed font in my title.

I used the rainbow washi and sequin hearts, along with several of the phrase chipboard stickers for the layout below...

And how awesome is that acrylic "home" embellishment?!?!

And last but not least, I created a more masculine-themed page about my son when he sprained his ankle using the same green alphas and a few items from some past ODM kits for a different twist.

After I painted some plus signs on my background paper I placed the large letters on top and stitched them down using my sewing machine.

Be sure and grab your November Ohdeerme Kit today!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday!
