Sweet & Silly *Hip Kit Club*

Hello friends!

I'm over on the Hip Kit Club blog today sharing this layout I created altering some alphas with gold foil paint and using the March 2015 Hip Kits...

I altered the Kraft alphas (available in the March 2015 Embellishment Kit) using some gold foil paint to coordinate with the gold-dipped chipboard arrows from Crate Paper.  More info about how I did that here.

The photos I used for this layout were of my son and daughter being silly and having fun during her 6th birthday celebration.  I printed them off in a photo strip and layered it on the left side of my page on top of a larger strip of patterned paper.

I love how the softer colors and gold accents look on the dark navy card stock background!

I hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by and TFL!

Project Life Week 7 & 8 *Hip Kit Club*

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I'm on the Hip Kit Club blog today with my Project Life spread for Weeks 7 & 8 using the March 2015 Project Life Kit

Since I've been using two weeks per spread for my PL album this year, I like to keep it fairly cohesive and the March PL kit from HKC was perfect for helping me achieve that.

Week 7

You can see more detailed photos on the Hip Kit Club blog of my spread.

Week 8

Be sure and check out the April 2015 Kits that were revealed on Sunday! They're amazing and perfect for all of your spring projects!

Thanks for dropping in today :)

My Movie Date *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I'm sharing a fun layout on the Hip Kit Club blog today.  It was the last one I created using the February 2015 kits.  I have my March 2015 kit on my desk right now and it's so amazing that I started playing with it immediately!

Once in a while I do scrap a subject other then my kiddols, lol!  For this particular layout, I scrapped a photo of a movie date I had with my BFF...

I used what was left of the February 2015 kits for this layout and you can check out my full post with all the details here.

I used my vintage typewriter to journal on one of the patterned papers from the 6x6 pad...that's why there are some typos ;)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

OHDEERME March Kit Projects

Happy Wednesday crafty friends!

Here are my projects using the March OHDEERME Kit...

This month's kit is "Snow Much Fun", lol! You'll love the bright colors and the "spring-inspired" embellishments in the kit.  So if you're still scrapping your winter activities or looking ahead to warmer and brighter days, this kit it perfect for both!

I also used many items in the March kit for my Project Life spread for Weeks 5 & 6...

Weeks 3 & 4 *Hip Kit Club*

Happy Tuesday!

I'm sharing my Project Life spread for Weeks 3 & 4 on the Hip Kit Club blog today using the February 2015 kits.

Left Side:

I love taking my leftover kit pieces and using them for my PL pages.  The random bits always work so well for my PL embellishments.

Right Side:

I'm including two weeks per spread this year for my PL.  I don't take as many photos as I used to and I don't have as much time to invest in putting my spreads together so this set up seems to be working well for me so far.

I used lots of pieces from the February 2015 Embellishment Kit. The 6x6 paper pad is perfect for making filler cards!

How are you tackling your Project Life spreads this year?  Be sure and stop by Hip Kit Club and check out their new Project Life kits!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
