Happy Friday!
I had a bunch of photos from this past fall that I hadn't had a chance to scrap yet so I decided to use one of my favorite photos documenting what I love about my favorite season.
I also created this layout for today's "A Few Of My Favorite Things" post at Come On Get Crafty using some of my favorite gold accents from the COGC shop.
I added gold ephemera bits from the Maggie Holmes Flea Market Ephemera Pack, along with gold sequin leaves from Lawn Fawn on my layout. I love the contrast of the brown and gold against the blue polka dot patterned paper.
I used my typewriter to journal a few of my favorite things about fall and layered the strips on top of some gold rimmed labels that I had in my stash.
You can see my full post at the COGC blog. Thanks for stopping by...I hope you have a great day!

I Love My Valentine
Hello friends!
I'm sharing a layout I created for a Designer Take Challenge over on the Scrapbook Circle blog today. The challenge was to use a date stamp or roller stamp in a unique way.
I used the fabulous date stamp patterned paper from Crate Paper that's included in January's "This Life" kit as a background for my photo and as flower petals I created using a heart punch.
I also used an actual date stamp to create a border around my page...
You can play along with this challenge and get a chance to win a fabulous prize! All of the details are located here. Good luck and thanks for stopping by today!

You Are Amazing
Hello and happy Monday, everyone! I'm sharing a layout I created for the Take 2 challenge over on the Scrapbook Circle blog today.
Here's a peek at it...
The Take 2 challenge is quite simple...take an older layout you created and use it as inspiration for a new one. I'm always thrilled how mine turn out and it's such a quick and easy way to get your craft mojo working ;)
I used the January kit, "This Life" and the "Love This" Add-on for this layout. I love the bright, happy colors of the kit and I could use that heart vellum paper on EVERYTHING!
To see the layout I used for inspiration, head on over to the SBC blog and check it out. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Interactive Layout
Hello and happy Thursday!
I shared this layout I created for Chic Tags on their blog yesterday...
I made sort of a mini album right on my page. I also created a pocket to hold a letter I intend on giving my hubby for our anniversary next month.
I layered different sizes of patterned paper from the Happy Place and Good Tidings collections on the left side of my page and stitched them right onto the background piece. I also added some vellum and used lots of gold accents.
I left a blank space on the photo strip I created and layered a clear acetate tag which I stamped the "You Are My Happy Place" sentiment onto using black StazOn ink.
You can see even more photos and details about my page on the Chic Tags blog. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Puppy Love
Hello everyone!
I have a layout I created for the COGC blog today showcasing some of the Pink Paislee Color Wash Watercolor Tags that are available in the shop...
I used watercolors to paint the tags and layered them across my page and around my photo.
Although our sweet little puppy died only a few days after we got her, the kids and I had fallen in love with her and I was just happy I got a few adorable shots of her to scrap. She was their first official pet and we will never forget our Lily pup.
You can check out my full post with product details here. Thanks for taking a look and have a great day!

These tags were hard for me not to hoard, but I broke through the fold and used three of them on my layout.

Untitled
Hello friends! Here's a layout I created for the SBC blog the other day...
I used a simple grid design for this page which was inspired by the Pebbles Sweet Nothings Patterned Paper that is available in this month's kit, "This Life".
I cut out the squares from the paper individually and placed them around my photo that I printed out at 4x6. I used my sewing machine and stitched around the squares and embellished a few of them using items from the kit.
Some of my favorite items in the January kit were the exclusive wood die cuts. I used a few of them in place of some of the patterned paper squares. They fit perfectly and were a nice contrast to all of the paper squares.
Have you checked out this month's kit at Scrapbook Circle yet? You'll fall in love with it...definitely one of my favorites so far!

I stuck fairly close to the sketch, although I did move my journaling over to the right a bit.

Week 1
Happy Tuesday, everyone! We're celebrating snow day #2 at my house today so that means lots of crafting, hot chocolate drinking, and card playing, lol! I also have my first PL spread for 2014 to share with you...
Week 1 was fairly typical. My hubby and I got to go out for New Year's Eve without the kiddos and I spent a few days cleaning and picking up what was left of Christmas. My younger brother turned 22 and my youngest son got his first pet puppy, so I spent quite a bit of time cleaning up those messes, too ;) All in all it was a great week!

I included much more journaling this week than I normally do and my One Little Word for this year. I also kept my embellishing fairly minimal and used lots of goodies from the COGC shop. How was your first week of 2014? I hope it was great!
You can see more photos and details of my spread on the Come On Get Crafty blog. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

January OHDEERME Kit
Happy New Year, everyone! I'm so excited for 2014 and I'm here today to share a couple of layouts I made using the January OHDEERME kit from Freckled Fawn that is now available for purchase.
Some of my favorite embellishments in the kit were the camera clips and the engraved cork days of the week shapes which would also be perfect for Project Life. I layered them over strips of the orange ombre washi.
I also really love the stamp set that's in the kit as well. I used the "Today Is" image on the right-hand side of my layout.
I used the sticky notepad paper in a grid design on this layout. I just love the colors in this month's kit. They were perfect for the photos I had of my kids when we visited Kansas City.
Thanks for stopping by! I want to wish you all the best for 2014 and you can check out the January OHDEERME kit here.
