Happy October everyone! Can you believe it's the 1st already?!?!
I made this layout for the Freckled Fawn DT Gallery last Friday and for Studio Calico's Weekly Challenge...
The Weekly Challenge was to use punches on your layout. I used some leftover Cameo cut star paper and my star punch for the black stars that I layered on top of a few of the white ones.
I took these photos of my little girl trying on a pair of my oversized sunglasses in the car while we were waiting to go into her school. I was very inspired by the stars on her shirt for this layout. I used the Snapster app on my iPhone to add a color pop to the pics.
I also used some Star Line washi tape in orange and my favorite Airmail washi in Aqua. I painted the wood veneer circles with some Mister Huey's Inky Black to add some pop and to match my title.
The paper I used to cut out the stars is White Woodgrain from SC. Love that stuff, but it's super thick so be sure to set your Cameo blade depth to 5 or 6, you might even have to do a double cut just in case :)
I hope you had a great weekend...my allergies were acting up again so I spent most of mine on the couch :( Ugghhh...
