Wild Thing

Happy Wednesday!

I have another layout to share with you today that I created using this month's OHDEERME Kit from Freckled Fawn...

When I saw the sentiment stamp "Wild Thing", I just knew it would be perfect for this layout.  My daughter loves to dress up, dance around, and be wild! Ha ha, don't we all ;)

I stamped the sentiment on some watercolor paper using some Staz On ink and then used a brush to paint on the aqua color.

I just love the blue and pink puffy stars and the fox badge buttons that come in October's kit.

Week 38

Hello friends!  Here's my spread for Week 38 that I created using Gossamer Blue's October Life Pages Kit, Main Kit, and Add-ons...

I just loved the colors and lines of manufacturer's in this month's kit.  The bright colors make me happy!

Left Side:

The weather started off really nice this week, but then we had a heat wave and it was miserable.  I'm so ready for fall weather I can hardly stand it!

Avery's really enjoying dance class and I couldn't stop listening to Robin Thicke all week while I was working in my craft room.

Right Side:

I updated my iPhone over the weekend and haven't stopped kicking myself since...I pretty much hate everything about the new update and I lost the ability to use my iMessage :(  Ughhh....technology can be so annoying sometimes.

First PSL

Happy Monday, everyone!

I created this layout using this month's OHDEERME kit from Freckled Fawn.  Can you believe I've never had a Starbuck's coffee before?!?!

I finally got a chance to try my first pumpkin spice latte last month when I went shopping with my mom.  I honestly didn't understand what all the fuss was about until I tried it and now it's all I can really think about, lol!

The "this is magic" sentiment is a stamp that's included in the kit and the wide gold polka dot washi is one of my all time favorite rolls!

I saved the sleeve from my PSL and used bits of it to embellish my layout. Another one of my favorite pieces of the kit is that "love" paper clip which also comes in gold ;)

OHDEERME Cards

TGIF, everyone!

In honor of World Cardmaking Day tomorrow I thought I would share a few cards I created using October's OHDEERME kit from Freckled Fawn...

I fell in love with every.single.bit of this month's kit...how cute are those wood chip and sequin bows?

That gold polka dot wide washi tape and those gorgeous filigree resin flower stickers were the perfect touch to this birthday card I made.

Week 37

Hello everyone and happy Thursday!

The October kits are now on sale at Gossamer Blue!  I think the main kits are sold out but I know there are some add-ons still available if you hurry!

Here's a look at my Week 37 using the Life Pages Main kit...

I love the way the kits coordinate so well with each other.  It makes the process of putting my weekly spreads together so much easier.

As you can see from my screenshot above it got really hot before it finally cooled off...typical Southern Illinois weather!

I started running again and found all of those beautiful pinecones (top right photo) on the side of the road I run down by my house.

My week's have become a lot busier with the kids in more activities.  I cram a lot of projects in at the beginning of the week because the end tends to get really crazy!

CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I was invited to be a Special Agent over at the CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration website for September.  I had so much fun "cracking the case files" and sharing my work with all of the amazingly talented members and design team...thanks again for having me Debbi!

Here are the layouts I created for Case File No. 88 and Case File No. 90...

Using the Case Files as a guide for my layouts was a completely different way of creating for me.  I loved incorporating all of the Evidence, Testimony, Schemes, and Scenes onto my pages...
