Today's photo taking went very smoothly, I think I'm getting the hang of this!  I love sitting down at night and seeing all the pics from the day.  Plus, since my hubby has been MIA due to farming and his 9 to 5 job, he gets to see what we did all day, too.  This was a great week to document our life.

Week In The Life - Tuesday

I got a great comment on my post yesterday that made me stop stressing about the number of photos I thought I needed...thanks Michele H. :)

Today was another fairly normal day.  It was a full one though, with an out-of-town doctor's appointment and having to mow the lawn.

Here are my words for Tuesday...

I really liked the content of the pictures I took today.  Now I keep thinking of all the pics I want to take throughout the week that I haven't captured yet!  I have to put reminders in my phone so I don't forget them.

Week In The Life - Monday

I really thought I'd have taken more photos, but I feel like I got the "gist" of the day with the few I had. I wasn't home for much of the day and neither were the kids so I figured that's probably why I had so few.  

Here's some of the pics from the day, morning to night...

It was a very ordinary day around our house, other than the fact I was gone all afternoon with Jubal's Pre-K class.  I forgot to take a picture of my Daily Sheets for Monday so I'll include those in tomorrow's post :)

This project is a first for me and I don't know how I feel about it yet...
I'm trying not to put too much pressure on myself for not including enough.  But that's tough.

Project Life Week 7

Here's my spread for Week 7...

I used my Cameo to cut out the "days of the week" words and then sewed them down to the printables from Marcy Penner, who I'm really digging right now ;)

I added two inserts this week.  One to hold the kids' artwork from their menu's when we ate out Friday night for my hubby's birthday and one to hold the brochure and map we got from our town's local art walk we attended on Saturday.  I ended up cutting off part of the 6x12 insert so the 8 1/2x11 page protector could peek through.  Then I used some washi tape to seal the top and ran a straight stitch for an added seal.

Another full week in the books!  OAN:  I went over to SC's member gallery this morning (such great inspiration over there!) and saw one of my layout's as the featured layout for this week!  I was so excited and thrilled!  Go check it out here :) 


Today, I'm embarking on my first Week In The Life project.  I've already taken quite a few pics this morning!  I prepared my album yesterday to help with the "put it together" process, so we'll see how it goes.  I really, really want to stick with this so we shall see :)

This is my take on Sketch 9 for the Sketchbook Four class I'm taking...

I used those super cute wood veneer cameras to showcase my collection of cameras...a point and shoot, digital SLR, and an Instax.  I just wish they had an one that was iPhone shaped because I use that camera the most!

All those tags are from a past SC kit and I was waiting for just the right page to use them...

This was another fun sketch!  Got lots to do this weekend, so I'm off to go do it!
